Rental Agreement

These terms and conditions are a legal agreement between you and Rent a Dress with LS, hereafter referred to as "us" or "we".

RETURNS:

If the item is not returned by the due date stated in your order, you will be accountable for late fees, set at our discretion.

Failure to return the item, theft of the item, or the item is returned in an unusable state you hereby authorise us to charge your account used for payment, at a charge of 110% of the retail value. This covers the loss of the item plus the expected loss of revenue from further rentals of that product and any shipping or orders that may be cancelled as a result of that loss.

CANCELLATIONS

If you require a cancellation, you must provide at least five days notice and we will reimburse you the full amount with store credit. Any cancellation past the five days will not be refunded with store credit.

CHARGES

We reserve the right to charge your account used for payment for non-compliance of the rental agreement and terms and conditions under which you rent our products.

When you rent something from our store, we will ask for you name, address, contact number and email address. We will keep your card details on hold, incase of any damages to the item and if the item becomes unwearable.

POSTAGE:

We will post the item to you in a tracked overnight courier bag up to 3 days before your event so that it arrives on time.

You must return courier the item within the next working day after your event. If failure to do so, you will be charged a late fee of $X per day.

If the item fails to get to you before your event because of courier error, we will refund you the full amount in Store credit.

DRESS ARRIVAL:

Once the item has arrived with you, you are responsible for the dress solely.

When providing an address for shipping you confirm that this address is your physical address.

If you provide us an address where you do not physically reside, we take no responsibility for non-delivery or any liability to what happens to the product after delivery.

RURAL DELIVERY:
Orders that are classified as rural under the postal system, and rural delivery was NOT paid for, will not get refunded if it does not arrive on time. Please make sure you select the rural delivery option at checkout.

LOST COURIER BAG:

If the provided prepaid courier bag provided is lost by you, you are held responsible for returning the item at your own expense by the expected return date. The alternative return must be using a nationwide overnight courier service. You must immediately notify us with a tracking code via email.

QUALITY AND DAMAGE:

We make sure that all products arrive to you clean and ready to wear.
You are solely responsible for the item during the rental period.

If any damage occurs that happened while you were responsible for the item, regardless of whether or not they were your own doing or out of your control, you will be held solely responsible for the costs incurred.

You must not wash or repair the item yourself after wear, this is for us to have professionally done.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

GENERAL:

  • You agree not to exploit our services.
  • Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
  • We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear in the photos. We cannot guarantee that your computer or phones monitor's display of any colour will be 100% the same in person.

INFORMATION:

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our rental agreement.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost or misused at all times.

By purchasing/renting with Rent a Dress with LS you agree to this rental agreement.
